Summary of Role

Palmetto is seeking a highly skilled and strategic National Sales Executive. This person will be responsible for delivering the mission, vision and strategy of Palmetto across the solar industry to identify new revenue opportunities. In this role, you will create the framework to prospect, onboard and implement large National Sales Dealer partnerships, while helping to manage existing relationships to outperformance. This person will establish and execute on strategies to achieve predictable revenue growth for Palmetto’s Sales Member/Dealer vertical. You will provide leadership to the sales organization and counsel to the EVP/CSO in implementing new growth strategies through new and existing relationships.

We’re looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm for our mission, and of course, the ability to turn on a dime when necessary. Ownership and problem-solving skills will be key to success along with a high sense of urgency.

Strategic & Tactical

  • Develop strategic partnerships with large sales dealer prospects
  • Present our capabilities to C-Suite executives; ultimately, signing new MSA’s.
  • Manage the onboarding and implementation process of each prospect to the platform, which will include setting up technology/CRM integrations.
  • Execute weekly QA/QC meetings with current partners during the ramp process, in order to identify growth opportunities and remove any impediments that may be hindering success.
  • Analyze/research multiple direct sales verticals to create a monthly/quarterly prospecting plan.
  • Work alongside our partner success and operations teams, in order to make adjustments to our install efficiencies for each partner.
  • Achieve expected revenue targets at 100%+ performance
  • Work through account development leaders to optimize training and successfully hand off relationships with each Sales Dealer
  • Attend industry conventions and events to build out a robust referral network with solar vendors/suppliers


  • 10+ years of experience in sales prospecting
  • Experience with channel sales models and channel activation strategies
  • Proven track record of outperformance against monthly quota
  • Proficient in relationship building with C-Suite
  • Track record of collaborating with cross-functional partners to lead transformation and growth
  • Expertise in SalesForce, Zoominfo and Linkedin Navigator
  • Experience working with general counsel in order to appropriately explain redlined documents, etc.
  • The maturity, judgment and self-confidence to operate effectively with a high level of independence.
  • Organizational chops to build a high impact sales funnel from the ground up, in a high growth environment
  • Knowledge of industry pricing, proposals, and proficiency with negotiation
  • Passionate about the potential for green energy to mitigate climate change
  • Travel required 25%
