The Role
As our first HR Business Partner, you’ll play a critical role in building foundational HR programs and frameworks to scale our business while cultivating our culture. What you’ll do:

  • Support our business leaders to successfully grow, manage, and retain their people
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and best practices to increase employee engagement, productivity, and sense of belonging
  • Develop relationships with all levels of the organization, and provide daily support to employees
  • Identify and manage potential risks, and ensure the business stays compliant
  • Support compensation and benefits package strategy and approach
  • Manage employee relations, investigations, performance management, and terminations
  • Lead and support workforce planning for departments and help determine staffing needs

Skills to be successful:

  • Experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist
  • Understanding of manufacturing of similar industry highly preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of California employment laws, including hourly employees
  • Ability to handle employees relations and effectively resolve conflict
  • Exposure to a fast-paced and growing company
  • Previously implemented HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Ability to be onsite regularly in a hybrid role and cover last or early shifts as needed

Pay Equity
Moxion is committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for substantially similar work. Compensation displayed is a range. Maximum amounts are reserved for those candidates that exceed all experience and background requirements. We reserve the right to offer compensation based on level of experience. Moxion has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay within the San Francisco Bay area. If you live outside that region, the range is subject to change.
Base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within the range provided above. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.
