Research Lab Technician Internship

Duties for this position would include a wide variety of lab maintenance and preparatory tasks that would exercise your scientific skillset. These would consist of preparing and validating complex agar plates, sterilizing glassware/supplies, preparing culture media, and potentially some order tracking and inventory management (See the complete job responsibilities below). We can be flexible with a busy schedule as we are sure you have a lot on your plate as a full-time student.

This position will have primary responsibility for:

- Pouring of Agar Plates

- Preparing and maintaining stocks of common media and reagents

- Cleaning and sterilizing glassware and other reusable components

- Receiving/storing shipments and maintaining proper documentation of receipt

- General lab maintenance and organization to ensure a clean working environment

- Maintaining written documentation/SOPs for preparation or maintenance of supplies

- Assisting with other duties as assigned by the Lab Management Team
