About the Team

As the Sales and Partnership Manager for Innowatts’ AI and Machine Learning PaaS (Platform as a Service), you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to expand our market presence with Utilities and drive revenue growth.

You will focus on establishing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in utilities, supply managers, grid operators, technology and innovation teams to promote the adoption of Innowatts’ cutting-edge solutions.

Leveraging your expertise in the energy industry and grid operations, you will position Innowatts as a trusted partner in optimizing energy operations, enhancing grid reliability, and promoting sustainability initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and target potential clients within the utilities sector, including IOUs and Public Power entities. Develop a robust pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives.
  • Solution Selling: Understand the Innowatts suite of products and services for grid operations optimization. Articulate the value proposition to clients, emphasizing how our solutions can address their specific challenges and enhance their energy operations.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in target accounts. Conduct effective sales presentations and engage in consultative discussions to understand clients needs thoroughly.
  • Partnership Management: Develop, manage and maintain commercial alignment with key partners.
  • Market Intelligence: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors activities, and regulatory developments within the grid operations segment. Leverage market insights to refine sales strategies and position Innowatts as a thought leader in the space.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer success, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling sales proposals, contracts, and quotations tailored to meet the specific requirements of potential clients.
  • Sales Reporting: Provide regular updates on sales activities, forecasts, and progress toward goals to sales leadership.
  • Attend Industry Events: Represent Innowatts at industry conferences, trade shows, and other relevant events to network and generate leads.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in selling software, technology, or solutions to the energy industry, with a focus on Utilities key stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of energy industry trends, grid operations, and regulatory landscape.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a self-driven, results-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
