JOB Description:

Assembly & Integration

  • Assemble multirotor UAV platforms as per Mechanical and Electrical drawings
  • Integrate Propulsion systems (Motors, ESCs, Propellers), Power systems, Avionics, payloads, and Communication Modules
  • Perform wiring harnessing, Soldering, crimping and cable management as per Aviation-Grade practices
  • Integrate Flight controllers (Pixhawk, Cube, proprietary controllers, etc.) and peripherals (GPS, Telemetry, RC, Cameras, Sensors)

Configuration & Calibration

  • Configure Autopilot firmware (PX4 / ArduPilot or equivalent)
  • Perform Sensor calibration (IMU, Compass)
  • Tune PID Parameters for stable and efficient flight performance
  • Configure Failsafes, Geofencing and Flight Modes.

Testing & Validation

  • Conduct bench tests, subsystem-level tests and system integration tests
  • Perform ground tests including Vibration Analysis, Power consumption and Thermal checks
  • Plan and execute flight tests (Hover, Endurance, Range, Payload and Environmental testing)
  • Analyze flight logs (.bin/.ulg) to identify and resolve performance or safety issues

Troubleshooting & Maintenance

  • Diagnose and resolve Electrical, mechanical, and software integration issues
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for failures observed during testing or field operations
  • Maintain and repair UAVs and Ground Control equipment

Documentation & Compliance

  • Prepare and maintain Assembly manuals, Integration checklists and test procedures
  • Document test results, deviations and corrective actions
  • Support regulatory and Certification activities (DGCA Type Certification, internal quality audits, etc.)
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality and operational standards

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Design, Firmware, QA and operations teams
  • Provide feedback to Design teams for Design-For-Assembly (DFA) and Design-For-Test (DFT)
  • Support Pilot training and field deployment teams when required
