Location: Remote first, Monthly attendance at one of regional offices is required. Office options in Stoke, Peterborough or London.

Role and responsibilities
As part of our growing sales team you would work across various sales pipelines and lead sources. Calling customers to discuss where we can support them further - whether that be where customers have struggled with the online check out for our Home Cover products, discussing upgrade options for new services we have launched into the market or on our green energy mission where a customer's boiler may be close to end of life - with multiple ways of keeping the customer warm this winter - whether that be through a new boiler, heat pump or our recently added solar options!
Whilst the role is predominantly based around outbound calling customers who have indicated interest, or are already a Hometree customer, there may be times that enable you to demonstrate your skills on the inbound customer line too!
Success is defined by speaking to as many customers as possible to support them in their journey and signing them up for their desired Hometree product - compliantly and through great customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Compliantly Discuss Products: Compliantly discuss our products with customers over the phone where they have not completed their online sale.
- Customer Outreach: Reach out to customers who have shown interest in our packages but not yet purchased.
- Transition Existing Customers: Support in transitioning existing customers who want or need to replace their boiler into a new boiler or greener option like our Heat Pump or Solar offerings, financed through our finance team.
- Manage Multiple Lead Sources: Work across multiple lead sources to outbound customers to discuss completing the sale on the relevant product type.
- Adhere to Compliant Sales Techniques: Follow compliant sales techniques to ensure we meet our customers' needs and sell in line with our regulatory requirements.
- Inbound Sales Support: Support the inbound sales line team where needed.
What we’re looking for:
- Outbound Sales Experience: Experience in working in an outbound sales environment.
- Customer-Centric Hunger: Hunger to find the right thing for every customer - compliantly and aligned to the customers' needs.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; people love working with you because of your passion for delivering for the customer and helping team members.
- Excellent Communication: Excellent and clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A natural problem solver driven by curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Organised and Detail-Oriented: Disciplined and organised with a keen eye for detail and an ownership mindset.
- Team Player: Team player who enjoys working collaboratively to resolve issues.
- Confidence with Systems: Confidence in working with multiple customer/online systems.
Our Recruitment Process:
- Initial Call: Start with an introductory call with our Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist to discuss the role and your potential fit. (30 mins).
- Stakeholder Interview: Spend time with our Head of Customer Care & Repairs and Head of Sales to explore alignment and expectations. (1 hr)
