Our Mission & Vision
To date, Grover has circulated over 1.2 million devices, employs over 400 people, and stands as one of the fastest-growing scale-ups in Europe. We hit Unicorn status in 2022, and are scaling internationally!
We're proud to champion a more sustainable way to use tech. With an average of 3-4 rental cycles per device depending on the category, we estimate that the rental of our portfolio from 2015-2021 resulted in 160,000 fewer e-waste products and about 250 tons of e-waste.
We are looking for our Senior Analytics Engineer to join our Data Engineering team at our Berlin HQ.
🎯 What you will contribute:
- Data Architecture & Pipeline Design: Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data architectures, facilitating seamless data collection and transformation for analytics.
- Data Quality & Governance: Implement robust data quality checks and governance protocols to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with relevant regulations such as GDPR.
- Collaborative Analysis: Partner with data scientists and business analysts to unlock insights from our data, contributing to business strategies and objectives.
- Process Improvement: Conduct periodic reviews of internal analytics processes and workflows, recommending and implementing improvements in automation, optimization, and scalability.
- Innovation: Keep your finger on the pulse of industry trends and emerging technologies, proactively suggesting tools and methodologies to elevate our analytics capabilities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Engage with product, marketing, and other departments to initiate and deliver impactful analytics projects that contribute to company-wide goals.
🤝What you bring:
- 5+ years of Engineering experience, preferably within fast-paced startup environments
- Cloud Computing: Hands-on experience with AWS (certification is a plus)
- Data Modeling: Proficient in creating scalable data models that serve a variety of user needs
- Technical Skills: Mastery in SQL and proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, Java, or Scala.
- Data Platforms: Experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- ETL Tools: Skilled in building robust ETL processes using tools like Apache Airflow, Spark, AWS Glue, or Airbyte. Familiarity with DBT is a plus.
