Our Creative Director will partner with Design and Marketing in the ideation, implementation, and execution of GridX branded experiences and moments for both internal and external audiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work alongside Design, Marketing, and customer teams to design and develop strategic, branded campaigns, digital experiences, and sales enablement toolkits.
- Champion GridX brand strategy through every customer journey and touchpoint, with both internally and externally facing audiences.
- Work with Design, Solutions, and Product teams to ensure products and services are accurately portrayed across channels.
- Create tests using current users, synthesize large volumes of data, and understand design impact through data and metrics.
- Gather insights and feedback from audience members and translate insights to concerted improvements to brand strategy, design system, and marketing objectives.
- Create comprehensive customer journeys, conversion funnels, and mock-ups that illustrate use-cases and experience outcomes.
- Mastery of application, color, space, typography, iconography, illustration and UX laws with excellent aesthetics to unlock brand across journey touchpoints.
- Ability to design engineering ready comps for our corporate website, digital properties, and outbound messages and work with engineering resources to develop and deploy.
- Clearly communicate desirability, feasibility, and viability of creative/design decisions and value of proposed creative/designs.
- Take ownership of projects end-to-end, and balance scope against time, cost and quality.
- Manage 3rd party contract resources, tools and systems on behalf of GridX.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant creative and brand design experience
- Portfolio with examples of relevant work experience
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Ability to facilitate design thinking exercises–digitally and in person
- Demonstrable experience designing and building strategic, branded campaigns
- Strong knowledge of the creative/brand/design industry and market trends
- Formal design training in Communications Design, Graphic Design, or Customer Experience
- Ability to work across time zones in a dynamic start-up setting
Your Location
Because much of the team is based in Denver, CO, it is preferred that the selected candidate be located in the Denver area. The role will include occasional work at a GridX Industrious shared office or attendance at offsites and/or customer sites, as determined by your role’s responsibilities and agreed to with your manager.

Compensation
Compensation is based on your specific location, and, for this position may range from $135,000 to $160,000/year base salary + benefits/perks. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on skill set, qualifications, experience and location.
