Role Description

The Senior Manager, Facilities Operations will lead and oversee the strategic planning, development, and management of Form Factory 1 (FF1) in Weirton, WV. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with a proven track record in facilities management, project planning, and team leadership – preferably both in bringing up new facilities as well as sustaining older ones. The Facilities Operation Senior Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our physical spaces, promoting sustainability, and providing a safe, comfortable, and productive environment for our employees and visitors.

What you'll do:

  • Lead the strategic planning, execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of FF1 in Weirton.

  • Build, develop, and lead a team of professionals responsible for site Facilities support and activities.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of the facility including preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and equipment upgrades.

  • Implement best practices to optimize building systems, energy efficiency, and overall operational costs.

  • Facilitate root cause analysis and determination of corrective or preventive measures for incidents and near-misses, as well as ensuring that corrective actions have been implemented.

  • Develop and execute an operational plan and budget for the Facilities function.

What you'll bring:

  • At least 10+ years of facility experience (project management, construction, maintenance, engineering, etc), with at least 3 to 5 years in leadership.

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction, and maintenance.

  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local safety regulations, protocols, building, fire, and enforcement procedures.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments or with vendors and regulation officials.

  • Project management experience with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
