Role Description

Form Energy is hiring a Senior Manager of Global Supply Management (GSM), Indirect, to lead our Form Factory capital procurement and sourcing activities, including manufacturing and facilities mechanical and electrical equipment and other related facilities and operations services. This role reports to our Senior Director of Global Supply Chain in our Operations organization. As the leader of our Indirect GSM team, you will develop, implement, and execute industry-leading procurement strategies and processes to achieve quality, cost, schedule, and performance requirements. You will collaborate closely with our Factory and Manufacturing Engineering teams to accelerate the delivery and scaling of our manufacturing operations in partnership with our Advanced Manufacturing, Finance, and Legal teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate the activities of our Global Supply Management team engaged in purchasing the equipment and services for our Form Factories and other facilities, including Capital Equipment, engineering, construction, and operations services and materials.

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies that utilize negotiation, market dynamics, and purchasing techniques to ensure the very best quality, cost, delivery, and service levels.

  • Own key Vendor relationships and develop and foster partnerships across the value chain to ensure Form’s ability to scale.

  • Interface with the Executive team and support organizational and management objectives by identifying and negotiating commercial cost reduction opportunities, including make vs. buy decisions.

  • Own responsibility for identifying, developing, negotiating, and managing relationships with vendors critical to supporting Form’s manufacturing activities.

What You'll Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, and/or Contract Management, with at least 3 years in a management role.

  • Prior leadership and management experience is required, demonstrating a clear record of success in building industry-leading teams that can execute in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Understanding of contract fundamentals; demonstrated skills in supplier operational and relationship management.

  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approx. 30% of the time.

  • Bachelor or Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering or a similar discipline.

  • Experience with capital project execution and/or capital equipment sourcing; understanding of manufacturing processes.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

The Pittsburgh salary range for this role is $164,490-$202,910. The range listed is what we reasonably expect to pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may be modified in the future. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
