FLO is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support and assist in the continued growth of our regional sales in Western Canada. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage a concrete sales pipeline. Location: This is a hybrid position (3+ days a week on-site) based in Burnaby, BC, Canada.

  • Find new ways to attract new business opportunities to engage prospective buyers through cold-calling, email, and social media.
  • Assist in the management of inbound sales enquiries, leads, opportunities and customer follow-ups.
  • Qualify leads, convert leads into opportunities and distribute opportunities to the territory sales team.
  • In order to guide the distributors in obtaining new opportunities with electrical contractors in key areas you will need to develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of federal, provincial and municipal funding programs.
  • Contact existing customers to offer them new products and solutions. (upsell, cross-sell)
  • Generate and nurture incoming qualified leads from marketing initiatives to Business Development and Distribution Sales Channel Teams as appropriate.
  • Work closely with the marketing team and account managers to ensure continuous improvement of lead generation processes and opportunities,
  • Use Salesforce CRM to track sales opportunities, quote prospects and report sales velocity projections in order to ensure delivery on annual sales goals and objectives.
  • Proactively contribute to B2B and B2C sales activities in the region to build a sustainable sales pipeline that exceeds the goals set for the region in key market segments.
  • Continue the development of channel distributor relationships including existing electrical distributors, automotive dealers, and the residential home sector.
  • Find new opportunities and quickly develop rapport with new clients.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with account managers to maximize selling opportunities and potential profit generating solutions.
