Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, security, and compliance, with hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments. This role requires expertise in managing IT systems in organizations adhering to ISO 27001 standards and ITIL v3/v4 process management frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Infrastructure & Support:
- Administer and support Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Office 365 environments.
- Oversee IT asset management, ensuring proper tracking, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of IT solutions.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain and update IT documentation, ensuring accurate records of system configurations and processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on IT infrastructure.
Security & Compliance:
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 and ITIL v3/v4 best practices.
- Implement and maintain endpoint protection solutions to secure organizational assets.
- Configure and manage spam filters and email security solutions to mitigate cyber threats.
- Ensure efficient password management policies and enforce security best practices.
- Demonstrate proactiveness and strong decision-making skills in resolving IT challenges and improving operational efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
Technical Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience working in IT environments with ISO 27001 compliance.
- Knowledge of ITIL v3/v4 frameworks for process management.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Microsoft Azure (administration, security, and resource management)
- Active Directory (user and group management, policies, and authentication)
- Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams administration)
- IT asset management tools and practices
- Endpoint protection solutions (antivirus, EDR, MDM)
- Spam filters and email security solutions
- Password management tools and best practices
- Vendor management and IT procurement processes
Soft Skills & Work Approach:
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Desired:
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, ITIL Foundation, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, or similar.
- Experience with automation tools, scripting (PowerShell), and cloud security best practices.
