What you’ll do…

A unique opportunity for an electromechanical enthusiast to be part of fast-growing organization developing next generation products and solutions. Seeking a detail-oriented, dependable hands-on supervisor to join product development group. The lab supervisors’ responsibilities include monitoring, servicing, troubleshooting equipment, running tests, completing reports, updating, and improving existing systems, repairing or replacing faulty equipment as directed along with ensuring all safety procedures are being followed. This position is based out of our Titan facility in Houston, TX (20702 Hempstead Rd.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting up and operating electrical and controls test equipment, including power distribution systems, control panels, PLCs, sensors, and data acquisition hardware
  • Wiring, configuring, and troubleshooting electrical and control systems used in generator and power system testing
  • Executing test plans and procedures in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Collecting, recording, and organizing test data and results for engineering analysis
  • Diagnosing electrical, instrumentation, and controls issues encountered during testing
  • Assisting engineers with failure analysis and troubleshooting of test anomalies
  • Performing preventative maintenance, calibration, and inspection of test equipment
  • Repairing or replacing faulty electrical components, wiring, sensors, and control hardware
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized testing environment
  • Working closely with engineers to test and validate generators, control systems, and monitoring equipment
  • Using manufacturer diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot engine controls and power systems
  • Communicating test results, observations, and issues clearly with engineering teams
  • Following company safety policies and electrical safety practices
Requirements

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting electrical or control systems
  • Experience working with industrial electrical equipment, controls, or power systems
  • Knowledge of AC/DC circuits, electrical protection, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and control system documentation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow test procedures accurately
  • Ability to support multiple testing activities in a fast-paced lab environment
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with engineering teams
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Have hands-on experience with electrical power distribution, industrial controls, or instrumentation systems
  • Are comfortable reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings
  • Have experience working with PLC-based control systems
  • Have experience troubleshooting industrial electrical systems or generator controls
  • Understand National Electrical Code (NEC) fundamentals
  • Have familiarity with internal combustion engines or generator systems (nice to have)
  • Hold a technical certification or associate degree in Electrical, Controls, or related field (preferred)
