Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of schedule activities and deliverables through all project phases.
  • Evaluate potential problems and work with project manager to develop solutions
  • Working closely with procurement for material & subcontractor requests for quote and purchase orders.
  • Maintain effective communication with engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning to ensure activity completion and reporting.
  • Other responsibilities as directed by supervisor.
Requirements

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • 0–1 year of professional or internship experience.
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (Junior or Senior standing preferred). Preferred majors include Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks
  • Ability to follow up on incomplete tasks and drive to completion
  • Ability to provide effective communication (written and verbal)
  • Ability to support multiple projects and project managers
  • Ability to review and provide schedule updates

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated thought-leadership in learning, challenging the status quo and achieving exceptional results
  • Possess excellent communication skills and an ability to influence a variety of audiences
  • Build constructive and effective relationships with a broad and diverse group of business partners
  • Have experience working within agile methodologies
  • Demonstrated Document Control skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills related to prioritizing and executing timely deliverables within timeline, scope, and budget
  • The ability to understand business needs to drive buy-in among company leaders to enable transformation and advance strategic priorities while building rapport and fostering a collaborative working environment

This is a paid, temporary summer internship. Conversion to full-time employment is not guaranteed and will be evaluated based on intern performance, business needs, and open positions at the conclusion of the program.

This position will report to the Technical Project Manager and will last for the duration of June-August 2026. Interns are required to be eligible to work full-time (40 hours). This internship is based out of our headquarters in Houston, Texas.
