Corporate Communications Manager :

We are seeking a dynamic Communications Manager to drive and execute our company’s communication strategy. Reporting to the VP, Corporate Communications, you will be a versatile storyteller, brand guardian, and strategist, managing multiple channels to ensure consistent, compelling messaging across internal and external audiences. This hands-on role requires creativity, adaptability, and experience in content creation, media relations, digital platforms, and brand management, thriving in a fast-paced environment during a pivotal period of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Development: Create and edit high-quality content for press releases, blogs, case studies, thought leadership pieces, website, and internal communications.
  • Website & Social Media Management: Oversee updates to the corporate website and manage social media channels to drive engagement and brand visibility.
  • Public Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media and industry analysts; coordinate interviews, briefings, and coverage opportunities.
  • Brand Governance: Ensure consistent application of brand guidelines across all materials and platforms.
  • Event & Campaign Support: Collaborate with the marketing team on corporate events, webinars, and campaigns to amplify messaging and reach.
  • Internal Communications: Develop strategies and materials to keep employees informed and engaged.
  • Measurement & Reporting: Track and report on communication metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, marketing communications, public relations or a similar role.
  • Energy, utility, power generation, oil and gas, renewables, or similar industry knowledge.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills across all levels.
  • Ability to translate engineer speak to customer friendly materials.
  • Familiarity with digital tools (CMS, social media platforms, analytics).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with thought leadership programs and public relations.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content optimization.
  • Experience with visual design and layout is a plus.
  • Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 20 pounds; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone
