What you’ll do…
We are seeking a skilled Testing Lead to oversee the testing, scheduling, and yard control operations for our newly manufactured generators. This role is crucial to ensuring the quality and efficiency of our products, maintaining strict adherence to safety standards, and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Leading a team of technicians performing testing and quality control of newly manufactured generators.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of standardized testing procedures to evaluate performance and reliability.
- Coordinating with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure testing requirements and timelines are met.
- Conducting and overseeing load, performance, and endurance tests to ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Maintaining and calibrating emissions testing equipment to ensure accurate performance data.
- Recording test results, tracking issues or defects, and providing timely reports to management.
- Supporting production scheduling for generator testing and ensuring organized yard operations.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and compliance with all regulations.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:
- Have mechanical, electrical, or assembly experience and/or ASE certification.
- Are familiar with computer-aided emissions testing programs.
- Can troubleshoot and repair portable emissions analyzers and internal combustion engine issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to generator testing and quality control.

What you’ll need:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production testing role, preferably within generator or electrical equipment environments.
- 1–2 years of team lead or supervisory experience in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong technical knowledge of generators, including testing procedures and performance standards.
- Proficiency with testing tools and software applications related to electrical or mechanical testing.
- Solid organizational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across departments.
- Detail-oriented mindset and strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues in the testing process.
- Proven commitment to safety and adherence to quality procedures.
- High integrity and reliability when working independently or within a team.
- Physical ability to be on your feet for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 lbs.
