What you’ll do…

As an Infrastructure Engineer (Systems and Network) at Enchanted Rock, you’ll design, implement, and support secure, scalable infrastructure across networks, servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services. You’ll lead SASE/SD-WAN initiatives and administer Fortinet security while also managing Windows/Linux servers, identity services, virtualization platforms, and cloud services (Azure and AWS). You’ll automate operations, harden identity and access, and strengthen disaster recovery and business continuity. Partnering with Security and cross-functional teams, you’ll deliver resilient, high-availability services that enable the business.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Designing, configuring, and implementing CATO SD-WAN and SASE solutions across multiple sites.
  • Deploying and administering corporate firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.
  • Developing and maintaining systems and network documentation, topology diagrams, configurations and SOPs.
  • Managing and monitoring systems and network performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
  • Managing firmware updates, patches, and lifecycle management of network devices.
  • Designing and enforcing Zero Trust/SASE controls and compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Working with cross-functional teams on IT and security projects.
  • Collaborating with cybersecurity teams to implement security best practices and respond to incidents.
  • Partnering with vendors and service providers to resolve escalated issues and managing upgrades.
  • Owning core Active Directory/Microsoft Entra ID, including MFA and Conditional Access policies. DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy in a hybrid environment.
  • Creating and updating runbooks, knowledge base articles, and technical guides for internal IT and support teams.
  • Managing and supporting Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions for secure provisioning, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management across various platforms and vendors.
  • Leveraging automation and RMM tools to proactively monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network and system health, streamline repetitive tasks, and ensure timely updates and patching across the environment.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if you:

· Have Fortinet NSE certifications (NSE4/NSE5 or higher).

· Have Scripting/automation skills (Python, PowerShell).

· Bring prior OT/IT Integration experience.

· Possess prior experience with SCADA or ICS/OT network environments in the energy sector.

Requirements

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years of experience as a Systems/Network Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure components, including servers, storage, virtualization, cloud platforms (Azure and AWS), and enterprise applications.
  • In-depth understanding of security protocols, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in systems administration (Windows and Linux Server), networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), and cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience in leading infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
  • Proven experience with CATO Networks (SD-WAN/SASE design and administration).
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Fortinet firewalls (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer) and Ubiquiti systems.
  • Solid understanding of routing, switching, and VPN technologies (IPSec, SSL VPN, SASE).
  • Experience with monitoring and automation tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% of the time (locally) for business purposes.
  • Physical requirements and working conditions: Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry 20 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
