Full job description

Responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting inventory control processes across all locations. This role executes daily inventory activities while assisting with system improvements, cycle counting, and process standardization within NetSuite and RF-SMART. The position will grow into increased ownership of inventory processes, systems, and team coordination.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises Cycle Counters and Inventory Control personnel and provides functional oversight to warehouse, production, and RMA staff as it relates to inventory transactions, handling, and controls, while supporting daily task prioritization and assisting in training and development of team members on inventory processes and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

An individual must be able to successfully perform the essential functions of this position with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Own and maintain inventory accuracy across all locations, including warehouse, production, rework, RMA, engineering, and off-site facilities

Design, execute, and govern the cycle count program based on risk, value, and usage (ABC classification)

Control and oversee all inventory transactions within NetSuite and warehouse management systems, including adjustments, transfers, corrections, and approvals

Investigate and resolve inventory variances, discrepancies, and material losses through root cause analysis and corrective actions

Reconcile physical inventory to system records on a daily, weekly, and monthly cadence

Serve as the system owner for inventory data, including bins, locations, lot/serial tracking, and inventory statuses

Identify, troubleshoot, and correct systemic issues across NetSuite, WMS, production reporting, and warehouse operations

Enforce inventory control procedures to prevent unauthorized movements, handling errors, or transaction bypassing

Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Production, Engineering, and Quality to ensure BOM accuracy, WIP integrity, and proper material transactions

Lead audit readiness by preparing inventory schedules, documentation, and reconciliation support

Train, guide, and support cycle counters and inventory control staff

Develop, document, and maintain SOPs for receiving, production, rework, RMAs, scrap, and all inventory movements

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, efficiency, and process standardization

Required Skills and Abilities

The following skills and abilities are necessary to perform one or more essential functions of this position.

2–5+ years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain (manufacturing environment preferred)

Working knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP systems; RF-SMART or WMS experience preferred

Understanding of inventory control processes, including cycle counting, reconciliation, and inventory transactions

Experience supporting or leading small teams is a plus

Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrity

Ability to take ownership, follow through, and work with minimal supervision

Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend improvements

Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

High level of integrity, accountability, and initiative

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

The employee may be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions.

The employee is required to work in both an office environment and warehouse environment.

The employee may be subject to hazards in the warehouse including moving pallets; material and/or equipment handling.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout the day
