Job Overview:

Reporting to the Maintenance lead, the Maintenance Technician-Electrical is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and performing breakdown recovery work for the plant equipment to ensure the smooth operation of equipment in the facility. This role requires experience in industrial electrical systems to troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain equipment used in the monitoring and control of processing equipment.

You will be based onsite in Mesa, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electriciansare responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems that operate at 480 volts.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and repairing electrical components and systems.

• Safety Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols due to the high-risk nature of the work.
• Able to identify to differentiate a electrical or mechanical problem that is causing the failure.

• Install, align, and dismantle electrical equipment in accordance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including pumps, conveyors and motors.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineers and other trades to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment,5-S, and adhering safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Technical certification in Electrical/Electrician
• Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in industrial environments.
• Collaborate with Lead to finalize maintenance storage locations
• High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification in Electrical/Electrician preferred.
• Other responsibilities as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent, technical certification in electrician preferred.
• Proven experience as an electrician or in a similar role.
• Strong schematic aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Physical stamina to handle heavy machinery.

Working Conditions:

• May require working in confined spaces or at heights.
• Shift work may be necessary, including nights, weekends or on-call availability depending on operational needs

• This position may require working in outdoor or indoor environments, with exposure to noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is always required.
