Job Description
As a Director Program Manager, you are responsible for driving the development work in the development team and ensuring that the intended value of our investments is realize. You’re the voice of the customer within the team, you provide technical thought leadership within your functional area and ultimately you ensure that we get great customer adoption and satisfaction in what we deliver.
In the Platform Engineering and Data Analytics team, we thrive to deliver an exceptional experience for customers as they design, generate, and distribute documents, reports, and analytics. We are committed to democratizing these tools and capabilities, ensuring they are as simple and frictionless as possible. By doing so, we empower users to gain a competitive edge and create greater value. These frameworks and tools are built using Cloud native solutions and modern languages.
As Program Manager you will:
- Work together with Product Managers, Software Architects and Software Engineering Leaders to coordinate and plan work in designing and building world-class products that deliver value to our customers
- Analyse incoming business requirements and work with the team to create a high-level solution design, then come up with scope and delivery plan across multiple releases to get the best value for the investment
- Coordinate with cross functional units and teams to get the work planned for IFS releases
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills in motivating teams towards the planned schedule
- Evangelize our Products and showcase how customers would benefit from what we deliver
- Understand technical aspects of the design and development to guide the team in decision making
- Be proactive, drive initiatives and take ownership
- Plan, execute & monitor the progress of development work
- Manage risks, issues & dependencies
- Coordinating across RnD groups when required for planned initiative work
- Manage customer escalations and handle communication

Qualifications
You are also someone who;
- Has MBA from a reputed university Or
- B.Sc. in IT/Software Engineering or similar stream.
- Has Excellent communication, presentation, strong decision making and negotiation skills.
- Has very good coordination and organizational skills.
- Has good knowledge in Data and Analytics domain.
- Can work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple competing priorities.
- Has a general understanding of current Cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Azure, Bitbucket CI etc.)
