Job Description

IFS North America seeks an experienced Business Consultant to play a key role in implementations of IFS Field Service and/or Asset Management by providing the necessary business process and application consulting, training, and documentation to ensure customer success in using IFS Cloud Service/Asset Management as a tool to improve overall business performance.
*This position is able to sit 100% remote in North America*

Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert who can take the customer’s requirements and build a Field Service and/or Asset Management solution to meet their needs
  • Strive to help the customer operate most efficiently
  • Work on a project team with the goal of exceeding all of the customer’s expectations
  • Complete tasks on time, within scope and with a view of cost to the Customer and IFS
  • Have the ability to analyze and understand business processes
  • Collaborate with other Consultants within the organization on activities such as:
    • Training and mentoring across related functional areas
    • Work with the Project manager and team to document solutions and possible customizations
    • Work closely with other Consultants to ensure complete solutions are provided to customers and are the best fit in all areas
  • Willingness to support other colleagues where necessary
  • Understand the importance of and pursue a high degree of customer service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Service and/or Asset Management
  • Experience in a customer-facing role
  • 3+ years’ experience in Field Service solutioning or systems, and ability to apply such knowledge to help meet customers’ business requirements
  • Must have good presentation, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to learn quickly, communicate ideas effectively, define and lead team efforts
  • Flexibility and creativity to adapt to different situations
  • Proven to be successful working in a remote position
  • Perform other duties as assigned or requested
  • Ability to travel up to 25% nationally and internationally, as required.
