Poka is an innovative app designed for manufacturing companies that empower frontline workers to learn continuously, solve problems and collaborate in support of continuous improvement. As a Product Owner, you will be a pivotal player in our agile development process, ensuring that our product vision is translated into actionable tasks that deliver real value to our customers. You will work at the intersection of business, technology, and user experience, acting as a liaison to ensure that our products not only meet but exceed our customers' expectations.

What you’ll be responsible for:

1. Requirements Gathering and User Story Definition:

• Engage in meaningful collaboration with product managers and designers to deeply understand project requirements.

• Articulate these requirements into detailed, actionable user stories, aligning every step with our project goals.

• Collaborate to refine and prioritize user stories, ensuring our roadmap reflects both vision and feasibility.

• Champion clear and open communication with the development team, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.

2. Scrum rituals

• Participate actively in sprint planning sessions, working closely with the development team to translate product requirements into actionable tasks.
  

3. Backlog Management

• Play a vital role in maintaining the product backlog, a prioritized list of features and enhancements.
  Work collaboratively with the product manager to refine acceptance criteria.

• Strategically prioritize backlog items to highlight immediate business value and urgency, streamlining sprint planning.

4. Seamless Delivery:

• Engage in the estimation process to set realistic timelines for feature delivery, keeping the product manager and stakeholders informed of progress.

• Anticipate and navigate potential obstacles for delivery, ensuring the team's path to success is clear.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

• 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role, showcasing a proven track record in requirements gathering, user story definition, and agile project management
  Complete English proficiency; Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are essential
  Strong communication and collaboration skills
  Beyond language proficiency, communicating ideas, priorities, and updates clearly is crucial. Collaboration skills are essential for working closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders.

• Adaptability; Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new challenges. The fast-paced nature of the environment requires individuals to stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving project requirements.

• Familiarity with fundamental product management concepts, such as user stories, product backlogs, and agile methodologies.
