Job Description

Cash Collection Specialist

Are you passionate about financial operations and skilled at managing accounts receivable?

Join our dynamic team at IFS as a Cash Collection Specialist. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring timely payments from our clients while maintaining positive relationships.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Client Communication: Reach out to customers via phone, email, or other channels to collect payments for outstanding invoices.
• Account Reconciliation: Investigate discrepancies, resolve billing issues, and reconcile accounts to ensure accurate records.
• Payment Tracking: Monitor payment schedules, follow up on overdue accounts, and proactively address any payment delays.
• Collaboration: Work closely with various business partners, including Customers, Group Treasury, Finance, Legal, Sales, Customer Service, Cash Accounting, and Billing teams.
• Efficiency Enhancement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, streamline cash collection procedures, and standardize practices.
• Ad Hoc Support: Assist the management team by providing information and addressing queries promptly.

Qualifications

• University degree in finance, accounting or economics
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in German and English as well as Polish language skills.
• Practical knowledge of Excel.

This opportunity is a full-time (40h per week) permanent position. The office site is Warsaw, Cracow or Gdansk. Please note that we do not offer B2B contracts.
