Job Description

The Unified Support Mergers & Acquisitions team manages Cloud and Support across the various IFS acquisition teams, as well as the IFS restricted industry teams, and are looking for a Project Manger to manage and deliver projects from start to finish; to be involved during all the phases of the project management life-cycle: project initiation, project direction, monitoring and supporting all phases, handling accordingly risks management, and reporting on project management performance until project closure.

You will work with and report to the Unified Support M&A Director (in a team consisting of a Technical Program Manager and an Project Coordinator) to deliver multiple simultaneous projects that span across several businesses and technology areas. You will be expected to effectively manage resources, scheduling, and ensure the quality of deliverables through the full project life cycle (discovery, analysis, design, construction, test and implementation).

These projects will often involve multiple products and different acquisition companies with a focus on those which can help to further integrate acquisitions into the wider IFS ecosystem.

You will be proficient in the areas of Project Management, Relationship Management, Business Analysis and Resource Management

Project Manager would be required to:

  • Discuss project requirements based on statement of work (SOW), and have an understanding of both the data involved and cloud architecture functions which could support this.
  • Identify and manage project risks; escalate as needed for resolution.
  • Use communication and leadership skills to establish a common understanding of project timeline, milestones, and expectations on delivery across internal and external teams.
  • Configure internal tools to perform product set-up.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan using project management software and execute all stages of the implementation.
  • Host weekly status meetings with teams and proactively track, plan, and report on implementation progress.
  • Assess project issues and identify solutions to meet productivity, quality and project goals.
  • Monitor change requests and prevent unapproved requirement modifications that result in scope creep.
  • Communicate as needed with other IFS teams and acquisition teams.
  • Provide consultative direction, employ good judgement and work in partnership with other teams to resolve any potential conflicts or concerns during project execution.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience managing complex, multi-group, multi-disciplinary projects in a managed cloud / Software as a Service (SaaS) environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills; strong analytic and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience managing IT projects, with the ability to discuss both technical and business project requirements in detail.
  • Expertise with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint.
  • Previous experience with ServiceNow and Jira Cloud, or other ITSM/ESM systems would be highly beneficial.
  • Experience in business intelligence portals and scorecards (Power BI) would be beneficial.
  • Understanding and experience of project methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2 and Agile framework),
  • Ability to quickly learn organisation structure, numerous product offerings, and product configuration options.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills to conduct client and status meetings.
  • Experience with Project Management Tools to execute under accelerated time-frames.
  • Bachelor’s Degree, with a technology or business emphasis, or equivalent education/experience
