Mechanical Field Service Engineer

What you'll do
Support commissioning, maintenance, operating, troubleshooting, and patching of pilot deployments both remote and in person using engineering expertise;
Provide engineering support to Senior Field Operations Engineer and Product Deployment Manager to document and maintain maintenance plans and schedules, service manuals, and field service plans;
Work with R&D to develop custom codes for steady-state and time-dependent simulation on the component and process levels and implement simulations of advanced thermal systems using specialized software and tools;
Work with Product, R&D, and Manufacturing Teams to improve product offering;
Provide engineering support to Senior Field Operations Engineer, Product Deployment Manager, and European team for Europe-based pilot deployments;
Troubleshoot operation of pilots using engineering expertise and collaborate with customers, contractors, and internal teams to ensure pilot up time;
Support development, fabrication, and testing of pilot and product units, as well as modification for EU deployment;
Support prototype testing, physical twin performance, and reliability testing
Required qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field;
Experience with the design, fabrication, and testing of thermal systems;
Familiarity with specialized simulation software such as Engineering Equation Solver, Aspen Plus, Matlab/Simulink, GT-SUITE, or HTRI;
Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
Experience working in a lab environment;
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
MS in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or related field;
2+ years of experience developing thermal systems and components;
Experience in the HVAC and/or boiler industries;
Proficiency with 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar;
