About this position
Location: Hybrid within Arlington VA, Alpharetta GA or San Francisco CA
The Supply Chain Analyst plays an integral role in sustaining a competitive supply chain by making strategy recommendations to key decision makers. This is achieved by formulating a strong understanding of operational capabilities and strategic financial objectives. Someone confident in carrying out comprehensive analytical assignments and solving new challenges in the growing energy storage industry will excel in this role.
Responsibilities
· Drive deep investigative analytics projects for the supply chain.
· Manage completion of project tasks while summarizing overall progress to leadership.
· Work closely with supply chain strategist and continuously assess operational capabilities.
· Establish foundational knowledge of critical business processes and the underlying operational systems-of-records that support activities.
· Distil information and generate key business insights from disparate data sources.
· Facilitate information flow for key supply chain and finance planning activities.
· Generate business requirements for supply chain Business Intelligence solutions.
· Frequently partner with internal cross-functional stakeholders.
· Organize and facilitate brainstorming and decision-making sessions efficiently.
What does the ideal person bring to Fluence?
- Undergraduate degree (master’s preferred) with an emphasis in: STEM, economics, finance, accounting or journalism
- 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain or operations management
- Basic to intermediate experience with data handling tools like python, SQL, data lakes, and data visualization platforms
- Experience working with enterprise solutions like ERP, CRM, SRM, etc.
- Basic understanding of operations finance and financial statements
- Lean six sigma and other industry certifications preferred.

In Colorado/California, the standard pay range for this role is $85k - 110K annually. This range is specific to Colorado and California and may not be applicable in other locations.
