This position will be within the Fluence Digital business unit, formed following Fluence’s acquisition of San Francisco-based start-up AMS. Fluence Digital’s IQ platform uses artificial intelligence, advanced price forecasting, portfolio optimization and market bidding to ensure energy storage and flexible generation assets are optimally participating in wholesale electricity markets.
This Sr. Associate of Digital Product Marketing Strategy will be an integral member of the Fluence team, helping to drive product go-to-market and marketing strategy for Fluence SaaS products, including Mosaic and Nispera, our AI-based software for maximizing the potential of clean energy resources. This position will play a key role in the continued growth of these advanced B2B software products, implementing critical strategic initiatives to deepen understanding of our customers and key value propositions.
The role will be remote within the United States and will report to the Director, Digital Product Strategy with close interaction with the Product, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
Key role responsibilities:
Collaborate to build and refine product positioning, buyer personas, ideal customer profiles, value propositions, and messaging platforms
Support development of market requirements and go-to-market strategy for new products and offerings, including conducting customer and market research
Evaluate customer journey analytics, customer data, and product data to identify trends and build enhancements to go-to-market strategies
Coordinate with Commercial, Product, and Global and Regional Marketing teams to build and implement product marketing documentation, strategies, and campaigns
Plan, implement, and analyze pricing and packaging research and build key messaging platforms to apply results
Become a product subject matter expert and evangelist that can collaborate cross-functionally to drive product business results

What will the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

  • 3-5 years of experience in product strategy, product marketing, market strategy, consulting, or similar
  • Be an excellent communicator with deep storytelling, writing, and presentation skills
  • Technical acumen, preferably experience working with technical products
  • Experience conducting analyses of business, product, and marketing metrics to develop strategy
  • Highly self-motivated and organized, able to execute multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience within the clean energy or B2B SaaS sectors preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus, but not required

In Colorado and California, the standard pay range for this role is $88k - 110K annually. This range is specific to Colorado and California and may not be applicable in other locations.
