Fluence is seeking a Battery Module Engineer to lead engineer the design and release of battery module thermal components.
As the Battery Module Engineer at Fluence, you will:
- Update and maintain the design of the battery module thermal components.
- Work with our suppliers to ensure parts are released on time with quality.
- Work with the greater module team to ensure the overall performance and manufacturability of the module.
- Identify opportunities to improve thermal performance.
- Identify module engineering fixes in the field related to thermal issues.
- Develop/refine Module thermal component specifications.
What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- 8+ years’ experience in Module engineering, preferably designing module thermal components.
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience building and using thermal/mechanical analytical models.
- Proven record of working autonomously.
- Highly tuned drive to win and deliver excellence under tight timelines.
- Desire to work collaboratively in entrepreneurial environment.
- Track record of taking ownership over responsibilities and pursuing them diligently.
