Fluence is seeking a Battery Module Engineer to lead engineer the design and release of battery module thermal components.

As the Battery Module Engineer at Fluence, you will:

  • Update and maintain the design of the battery module thermal components.
  • Work with our suppliers to ensure parts are released on time with quality.
  • Work with the greater module team to ensure the overall performance and manufacturability of the module.
  • Identify opportunities to improve thermal performance.
  • Identify module engineering fixes in the field related to thermal issues.
  • Develop/refine Module thermal component specifications.

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

  • 8+ years’ experience in Module engineering, preferably designing module thermal components.
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience building and using thermal/mechanical analytical models.
  • Proven record of working autonomously.
  • Highly tuned drive to win and deliver excellence under tight timelines.
  • Desire to work collaboratively in entrepreneurial environment.
  • Track record of taking ownership over responsibilities and pursuing them diligently.
