As a Marketing Assistant (Working Student, 20h per week), you will work on a variety of projects for Fluence’s EMEA region, with a special focus on the German market. You will be working closely with the Regional Marketing Manager and Policy & Communication Associate.

Your tasks will involve:

  • Supporting content development, launch and management of multi-channel regional and country-level campaigns – including personalised emails, PR, infographics, translations English/German, among others
  • Supporting policy department by tracking relevant policy events, preparing briefings, reviewing and summarising media coverage on relevant policy development
  • Events Management – working alongside another Working Student on researching and pre-selecting suitable events; maintaining events tracker. Liaising with the organisers to ensure maximum return on investment. Organising logictics & marketing collateralsfor external and internal events
  • Developing social media content in collaboration with the global digital marketing team
  • Developing and maintaining media/industry/policy stakeholders databases across several European territories
  • Acting as a brand guardian – ensuring all materials shared across the EMEA comply with the brand guidelines
  • Wider administrative support for the EMEA Growth, Staretegy & Marketing Team

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

  • Collaborative, team player who views the success of the team as their own success
  • Fluent in English and German (knowledge of additional languages is a plus; German as a native language is a strong advantage)
  • Preference for students of Marketing & Communications, Business, Political Science, Environmental Studies,but other degrees will be also considered
  • Strong content writing and proofreading skills
  • Experience in events management and liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Great attention to detail, organisation, and planning skills
  • Experience and/or strong interest in the Energy/Cleantech sector
  • B2B marketing experience (preferable but not essential)
  • Experience with marketing platforms: Hubspot, Cision, Sprout (preferable but not essential)
