As the IT Director, Finance Platforms you will manage the link between specific business initiatives, projects or programs, and IT in order to identify, forecast, and deliver value. We are looking for a hands-on change agent who can lead with digital-first approach to delivering business transformations.
As Fluence grows, we require individuals who can work seamlessly within cross-functional teams that combine internal staff, contractors, consultants, and other external resources to deliver against aggressive timelines. She/He will coordinate and deliver major projects and programs with enterprise impact.

What does an IT Director, Finance Platforms do at Fluence?

  • The IT Director supports all efforts to improve project delivery across the people, process, and technology pillars. Responsible for the day-to-day delivery activities including requirements definition, organization and process design, system implementation, and project delivery. Tasks include:
  • Facilitate and determine business requirements and objectives by analyzing business processes, reviewing artifacts, and leading focused requirements workshops.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Finance Platforms, including Anaplan, SAP, Blackline, and Project Finance tools like Oracle Primivera
  • Extensive Planning Platform Experience is required (Anaplan, Hyperion, OneStream)
  • Extensive Finance Project Platform Experience is required (Primivera, SAP PS)
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Reporting and KPI’s
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • This role requires both a visionary thought leader as well as someone who is ‘hands-on’ and dives into the details as needed to ensure a successful execution of required goals.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

  • 15+ years of business systems experience in a global organization
  • Strong Financial Planning
  • Strong Project Financial Planning
  • Senior IT leadership experience in a global organization, with emphasis on driving transformation and innovation initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of Finance processes, compliance requirements, and best practices
  • Project/program management and delivery required
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Digital Transformation experience for a large global company
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferably in an Engineering or IT discipline
  • 5 years of progressive experience in the administration and management of project management information systems.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certifications preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have strong analytical, planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Excellent Oral and written communication skills.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable software programs
