What does a Sr. Manager of Lab Safety & Construction do at Fluence

  • In this role you will:
  • On-site oversee retrofitting and construction activities.
  • Verify project status and planning around logistics delays.
  • Verify construction related activities, timelines for projects, projecting timelines at the labs.
  • Audit lab procedures/ sites to verify adherence to regulations and policy compliance and updating this documentation to reflect any found issues.

What does the ideal candidate look like?

  • 5-7 years’ experience interacting with EPCs
  • 10 years of equivalent industry experience
  • One year minimum experience managing subcontractor contracts.
  • Combined 5 years’ experience in project management, construction management, or engineering within the power generation market. Experience delivering a project to a Utility customer is a plus.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Certifications: OSHA 510 and 511 is preferred
