ABOUT THE POSITION

The Senior Accounting Manager will:

•Support the Americas regional businesses through the monthly business cycle and monthly closing.

•Provide technical review of contract changes, research and/or verify appropriate accounting treatment, and document conclusions.

•Support the annual and quarterly audit review processes.

•Ensure accurate and timely business transaction recording in the ERP system.

•Manage staff level accountants, review journal entries, and account reconciliations.

•Ensure SOX controls are executed timely and accurately.

•Develop and participate in process improvement projects.

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?

•Minimum of 7 years’ experience, including at least 2 years of public accounting experience with revenues in excess of $1B.

•Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or business administration.

•Demonstrated ability to research and interpret ASC guidance and apply to business scenario.

•Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting processes, including account reconciliations.

•Proven success managing small teams.

•Self-motivated and self-directed, as well as strong time management and organizational skills.

•Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels.

•Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight timelines.

•Ensuring compliance with the company’s accounting policy and its implementation according to the latest GAAP requirements.

•Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Excel and the ability to automate tasks.
