Fluence is embarking on a digital transformation journey to enable the company's mission to create a sustainable, clean-energy future for future generations. Global ERP implementation will be at the core of the transformation and will be a strategic companywide initiative.

As a member of the digital transformation team, you will be responsible for working with stakeholders across the company to design and implement the SAP S4 HANA platform. As the Regional Procurement Lead with expertise in SAP HANA/S4 ERP implementation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing the procurement processes within your region. Your primary objective is to lead the successful implementation of SAP HANA/S4 ERP for procurement, ensuring alignment with business requirements and global procurement strategies.
1. SAP HANA/S4 Procurement Implementation:
· Lead the regional implementation of SAP HANA/S4 ERP for procurement, working closely with the global project team.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define regional procurement requirements and configure SAP HANA/S4 accordingly.
2. Procurement Strategy:
· Develop and execute regional procurement strategies that leverage SAP HANA/S4 capabilities to drive efficiency, compliance, and cost savings.
· Ensure alignment of regional strategies with the global procurement vision.
3. Process Optimization:
· Streamline regional procurement processes through SAP HANA/S4 implementation, identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements.
· Standardize procurement practices across the region where applicable.
4. Supplier Management:
· Collaborate with suppliers to ensure smooth onboarding and integration into the SAP HANA/S4 procurement platform.
· Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to support regional procurement objectives.
5. Change Management:
· Lead change management efforts related to SAP HANA/S4 implementation within the regional procurement team, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
· Provide training and support to regional procurement staff to maximize system utilization.
6. Data Analysis and Reporting:
· Utilize SAP HANA/S4 data analytics to make data-driven decisions, monitor procurement performance, and provide regular reports to senior management and stakeholders.
7. Cost Management:
· Develop and execute cost-saving initiatives within regional procurement operations, closely monitoring procurement costs and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
8. Compliance and Risk Management:
· Ensure regional procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
· Proactively identify and mitigate procurement-related risks within the region.
9. Team Leadership:
· Lead and manage the regional procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and excellence.
What will the ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 7 – 10 years of experience in procurement, with a strong background in SAP HANA/S4 ERP implementation.
- Proven track record of successful procurement process optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong leadership and change management skills.
- Proficiency in using SAP HANA/S4 or similar ERP systems for procurement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations and best practices.
