ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position is a crucial role responsible for sourcing and managing working capital funding, financial lines of credit, optimal cash management solutions, securitization, project financing, letters of credit, bonds, insurance relationships, corporate credit card facilities and coordination of activities related to financial risks, including foreign exchange (FX), across APAC countries, Australia, India, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
The role reports to the APAC CFO Singapore, with dotted line to Global Treasury, USA.
As the Treasury Funding Director, you will:
• Build, develope and maintain, relationships with existing financing partners and prospective institutions.
• Ensure working capital funding lines are available and maintained across the region.
• Provide liquidity requirements and projections on a rolling forward looking basis.
• Provide recommendations of funding allocations, adjustments, strategies, institution changes, including providers of corporate credit cards and other relevant products.
• Lead and support new project financing transaction opportunities, as they arise (i.e. LC financings, project financing, bonds, debt refinancings, etc)
• Drive the financial analysis and modelling to determine financing decisions
• Support various process and systems initiatives within Treasury organization
• Ensure intercompany cash flows are understood and settled is accordance with applicable master agreements, working with Fluence Controllers and Tax Directors.
• Review and consolidate net FX exposures and interest rates fluctuations and undertake hedging transactions as needed.
• Build / leverage tools for reporting and analytics, including reporting net exposures, month to month variances and sensitivities.
• Support system improvements and the development of technology approaches to fund transfers, tracking exposures and activities driving towards automation and standardization across multiple business units.
• Provide market intelligence, market analysis and insights to Fluence leadership.
• Comply with the global Hedging Policy, processes and controls and ensures proper documentation to comply with internal and external audits and regulatoty requirements.
• Partner with Accounting, Tax, Financial Planning and other groups to ensure visibility into sources of risk, optimal strategies to minimize cash flow and P&L exposure.
Skills & Qualifications:
• A degree in Treasury Finance, Banking or a related fiele
• 15+ years of proven, related experience in a bank or renewable energy developer or similar a plus.
• Broad financial leadership experience including accounting, treasury, regulatory reporting, tax considerations, FX, derivatives, and risk
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical skills, strong financial modelling skills and problem-solving skills with a proficiency in Excel.
• Understanding of trading activities and systems
• High energy, proactive, solutions oriented, and driven for results.

• Systems expertise in global Treasury systems, Bloomberg an advantage
