As the Senior Analyst, Accounting Excellence, you will:
•Tackle key accounting initiatives around financial systems to streamline accounting operations.
•Be a key stakeholder in any ERP configuration design that will impact accounting processes downstream.
•Facilitate training and effectively communicate changes in business processes and systems to the global finance and accounting leadership teams.
•Develop process documentation and training guides for global accounting and finance team
•Optimize closing cycle tool (Floqast) to support finance organization.
•Streamline, automate and support the SOX control performance and organization across the Corporate Accounting function
•General ledger and chart of accounts maintenance and ownership of any initiatives to alter or re-organize our chart of accounts
•Legal entity setup within the ERP
•Support the optimization of our ERP process around Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition.
What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
- 5+ years’ experience
- Strong accounting, finance, tax, and treasury acumen, with a strong passion for financial systems
- Self-starter with a proven track record of grit and determination to drive process improvement
- Strong communication skills, the ability to facilitate training and roll out strategies with the global accounting and finance functions
- Ability to manage multiple projects and execute with tight timelines
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with all levels
- Demonstrate the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting, business administration, or equivalent training
