As a Senior Total Rewards Analyst, your role involves managing and overseeing the compensation and benefits programs within an organization. You are responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating total rewards strategies to attract, motivate, and retain employees.

In this role, you will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Compensation Program Management: You will partner to design, implement, and manage our comprehensive compensation programs, including job evaluations, salary structures, and incentive plans. Your expertise will help us attract and retain top talent while ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Compensation Management: You analyze market trends, conduct salary surveys, and develop competitive compensation structures. You ensure that employee salaries are fair and aligned with market benchmarks while considering internal pay equity.
  • Stock-Based Compensation: You oversee the management and administration of stock-based compensation programs, such as stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), PSUs. This includes ensuring accurate recordkeeping, coordinating with external vendors or stock plan administrators, handling equity grants and exercises, and providing guidance on stock plan rules and regulations.
  • Benefits Administration: You oversee the design, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, 401(k) plans, and wellness initiatives. You ensure compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Job Evaluation and Classification: You evaluate jobs and determine appropriate salary and job levels. This involves conducting job analysis, benchmarking roles, and maintaining job classification systems.
  • Compliance and Legal Considerations: You ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
  • Communication and Education: You communicate total rewards programs to employees, ensuring they understand the value and benefits available to them. You may also conduct training sessions or workshops to educate employees and managers on compensation and benefits-related topics.

What you will bring to Fluence:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or the equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration is required. Experience in managing total rewards programs, conducting market research, and working with HRIS systems is highly valued.
  • Strong knowledge of compensation principles, market analysis, job evaluation methods, benefits program design, and legal compliance is essential.
  • Familiarity with stock-based compensation plans and administration at a publicly traded company is highly desirable.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills are vital to interact with employees, senior management, and external vendors. The ability to explain complex compensation and benefits concepts in a clear and concise manner is crucial. Collaboration skills are important for working closely with HR, finance, and legal teams.
  • Being meticulous and detail-oriented is important when managing compensation data, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with regulations and plan documentation.
  • As a Senior Total Rewards Analyst, you will handle sensitive employee information and must demonstrate a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, Workday Advanced Compensation, and data analysis tools is preferred. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, such as the FLSA, EEO regulations, and tax implications related to compensation and benefits, is important.
